Donut Date with Grammy!

Tim was out of town for the 2nd grade Donut Date
so Tanna asked Grammy to be her "Special Someone"
Grammy surprised Tanna with the Pinkalicious and
Purplicious books (Tanna's favorites),
her favorite snack, and her favorite gum in
a heart container...it was such a fun and a special
memory Tanna will never forget!
Our Grammy is the BEST!!

What is it with kids that want to cut their own hair???

Taylee got some scissors and late at night, in her bed

(no mirror) decided to cut her some bangs...she said...

no rhyme or reason to the cutting,
she snipped away chunks everywhere on her head.
We now part her hair on the other side,
do a major comb over, and call her "spike!"
She still looks adorable and makes
life so fun and eventful!

Tim has been a Steelers fan since he was little
and now he has passed it onto our son...Super Bowl XLII
was a great game...we didn't care if the Cardinals won
because they have a great story
(and I always like to root for the underdog)...but of course,
Steelers won it!!! 27 to 23 - GREAT GAME!!

It was a fun night to stay up late and play games with
the Yerg side family...and after the kids are asleep, Tim
and I sneak down to Grandma Shoemaker's house to
watch a movie and make a toast to the New Year!
It makes it a crazy late, late night but it is
a tradition that we love!

Trevan answers "Roar"...Trev, you okay? he answers "Roar!")
It is pretty fun to have a dinosaur in the house!


Tanna is happy with anything Tinkerbell...
and boy did she get a ton of Tinkerbell stuff!


Taylee loved her Ariel jammies and all her kitty stuff!
She especially loved her Nintendo DS!

(and everyone elses too!)


Tanna, Taylee and all the cousins put together a program
of Christmas songs (chimes and piano) and stories at
Grammy's house! They even had us do an opening and
closing prayer! (pretty funny!) It was a special night!

in Cedar City, Landon was sleeping, Ryker and Tayson were
home sick and the bigger boys that were out sledding...
so I guess I shouldn't have said all the cousins...oops!)

It was a fun and busy Holiday season...with all the parties,
sledding, snowboarding, skiing, movies, junk food and
late nights... it is actually going to be kind of nice to be
back to school and a schedule...but we will miss our families
and will look forward to the next holiday event!

We were so excited to get some snow! We just didn't know
that it wasn't going to stop...storm after storm after storm....
We had an amazing white Christmas!

The Santa Cause

The Santa Cause Night was at the Galavant Center
down town Salt Lake City...
We went ice-skating outside.
It was a blast!
It was neat to be a part of a wonderful cause and donate
money to needy families for food, clothing,
and gifts for Christmas!


Tim was the MC for the whole night and ran the auction...
he ended up bidding and somehow winning this snowboard!
